Meet the founder – Matthew Rashleigh

Having spent time working within one of the worlds largest auction house environments, I have been involved in the field of antiques and collectibles for over 30 years.

At the age of 13, I began trading antiques alongside my Grandfather on a market stall in Hampshire.

I went on to study Fine Art Appreciation at Southampton university and soon began trading in unusual and interior pieces.

Later, I gained further knowledge and experience working at Christie’s auctioneers in London, Covent Garden Market and in the international shipping of antiques industry.

Moving back down to the south coast I have continued to trade in antique centres in Dorset and Hampshire and have now opened a shop in The Grove Trading Estate, Dorchester, Dorset. My personal interests include glass, retro and unusual pieces, of which I have a wide and varied collection.
